An unexpectedly hard shot by Are Bugten in the 21st minute of play forced DragonRiders FK's goalkeeper Patrik Horgen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erland Engebråten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Henrik Heide succeeded in the game's 53rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. Bjørnar Røsand's late challenge caught a DragonRiders FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bjørnar Røsand helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute, one of Lunden:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lunden. In the 70th minute there was a penalty for DragonRiders FK. Kenneth Engum stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Petter Heggem. 3-2. 76 minutes into the game, DragonRiders FK's Henrik Heide nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Petter Heggem made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Patrik Horgen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erland Engebråten in the 81st minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Henrik Heide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute Erland Engebråten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Horgen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kenneth Engum recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. DragonRiders FK's Henrik Heide got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Henrik Heide had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petter Heggem. Lunden's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henrik Heide was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Petter Heggem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torkel Heimstad in the 99th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lunden players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for DragonRiders FK.
