Spectators: 6787 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1747, VIP seats: 40) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jimmy Stormoen made the kick off which started today's match. Lars Mydland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Espen Lyssand having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Jimmy Stormoen fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The Dawgs's Espen Lyssand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Sørgård in the 9th minute of play. Halvard Hoff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Espen Lyssand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andreas Sørgård in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Espen Lyssand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 16th play minutes Andreas Sørgård shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Espen Lyssand and just under the crossbar into goal. If Halvard Hoff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andreas Sørgård during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Andreas Sørgård hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute of the match Våsjø got a corner. The Dawgs's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Martin Moen ran over to the corner to take the kick. Våsjø's Martin Moen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Espen Lyssand in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Lars Mydland hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, The Dawgs's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Sørgård came free, but Espen Lyssand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Halvard Hoff in the 36th minute of play forced The Dawgs's goalkeeper Espen Lyssand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 minutes of play, Våsjø's Andreas Sørgård made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Espen Lyssand was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rune Grødem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Espen Lyssand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Våsjø were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andreas Sørgård to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Våsjø's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Krasniqi came free, but Arild Aasland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Benjamin Krasniqi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Dawgs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Andreas Sørgård received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Espen Lyssand came out and tried to block the shot, but Andreas Sørgård slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 58th minute. Andreas Sørgård blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Espen Lyssand having to make a save. In the 68th minute, one of The Dawgs:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for The Dawgs. When the match had been going on for 69 minutes, Våsjø's Martin Moen got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Espen Lyssand. In the 71st minute of the game, Tor-Henrik Aschim landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Jimmy Stormoen fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Dawgs's protests and gave Jimmy Stormoen a yellow card for diving instead. Våsjø's Petter Løvseth was substituted for Tor-Henrik Aschim. After a rather tough play, The Dawgs's Jimmy Stormoen got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Espen Lyssand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Sørgård, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Andreas Sørgård struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Espen Lyssand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Våsjø. Våsjø's Andreas Sørgård managed to work through The Dawgs's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Andreas Sørgård dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Espen Lyssand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Sørgård, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Sørgård in the 88th minute of play forced The Dawgs's goalkeeper Espen Lyssand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th match minute, Våsjø was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Mydland to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute of the match, Andreas Sørgård tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Espen Lyssand saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 92nd minute Andreas Sørgård shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Espen Lyssand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
