Ludvig Sikveland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frode Bjørvik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Arne Sandal scored 2-0 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sebastian Melbye, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ludvig Sikveland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Myxicans getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Remi Haugseth hit a great ball. Brimnes BK's Sebastian Melbye proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Brimnes BK from getting a goal against them. In the 29thth minute of the game Ludvig Sikveland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Myxicans's Frode Bjørvik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brimnes BK's Ludvig Sikveland got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stian Åkre shot from long distance in the 38th minute, but Sebastian Melbye was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 40th minute Stian Emanuelsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Melbye saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brimnes BK's Finn Lundberg got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ludvig Sikveland made the kick off in the second half. Ludvig Sikveland was extremely unlucky when he, in the 55th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a little luck, Myxicans's Frode Bjørvik got control of the ball when Finn Lundberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 58th minute, Finn Lundberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frode Bjørvik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludvig Sikveland, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The referee gave Myxicans a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Johan Skeide, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Brimnes BK's Sebastian Melbye. 3-0. Finn Lundberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frode Bjørvik having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Myxicans's goal looked a bit too open when Finn Lundberg came free, but Frode Bjørvik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Melbye showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stian Emanuelsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 83rd minute, Finn Lundberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the game, Finn Lundberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Frode Bjørvik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sebastian Melbye showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Sandal in the 92nd minute of the match. A collision led to Myxicans getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Remi Haugseth hit a great ball. Frode Bjørvik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Finn Lundberg went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Brimnes BK's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Myxicans had won, even though Brimnes BK had held more of the ball.
