A collision led to Jøstad getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Halvard Heldal hit a great ball. The supporters of Jøstad booed when Kavåsen FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svein Høie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kavåsen FF's Markus Myrseth pulled a muscle in his back after 27 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Mons Mikaelsen fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jøstad's protests and gave Mons Mikaelsen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Mons Mikaelsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torjus Sæterbø received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Brede Hassel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 37th minute, but Christian Halsen got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Jøstad hanging dry this time. Brede Hassel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torjus Sæterbø, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Brede Hassel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torjus Sæterbø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kavåsen FF's Eric Grønning got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christer Lysne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 64 minutes of play, Kavåsen FF's Eric Grønning made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christian Halsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Grønning in the 69th minute of play forced Jøstad's goalkeeper Christian Halsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Eric Grønning got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jøstad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adam Ravn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Eric Grønning blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Halsen having to make a save. Kavåsen FF's Brede Hassel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Kavåsen FF from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torjus Sæterbø in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brede Hassel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Brede Hassel managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Jøstad's Christer Lysne fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Audun Elnes lost his temper 96 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 95 minutes into the game, one of Kavåsen FF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Oscar Vikanes placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Kavåsen FF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
