Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rolf Dang started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Torjus Sæterbø managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jøstad's supporters rose to their feet, but Torjus Sæterbø was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Finn Grini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7th minute, one of Jøstad:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jøstad. In the 8th minute there was a penalty for Kjomme. Eilif Berdal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Christian Halsen. 1-0. Jøstad's Christian Halsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Jøstad from getting a goal against them. Steffen Stornes made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 17thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Christian Halsen would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolf Dang in the 21st minute of play forced Jøstad's goalkeeper Christian Halsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolf Dang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torjus Sæterbø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Finn Grini having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Finn-Christian Skevik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kjomme's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jøstad the free kick. The supporters of Jøstad booed when Kjomme was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Finn-Christian Skevik didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute Torjus Sæterbø shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Finn Grini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Christer Lysne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steffen Stornes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Christian Halsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Halsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolf Dang, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. A hard shot 45 in the game by Steffen Stornes from a close distance when the talented Christian Halsen managed to make a qualified save. Jøstad's players were relieved.
The wind increased when Torjus Sæterbø made the kick off in the second half. Finn Grini was a little too slow when Torjus Sæterbø got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 1-1. Christian Halsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolf Dang, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Linus Brodahl kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Christer Lysne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Finn Grini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Oscar Vikanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Steffen Stornes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Halsen having to interfere. Christer Lysne who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Finn Grini when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Steffen Stornes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Halsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolf Dang, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 79th minute, Rolf Dang made a precise shot to the right of Christian Halsen. Jøstad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. If Steffen Stornes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Halsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolf Dang in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute of the match Kjomme got a corner. Jøstad's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eilif Berdal ran over to the corner to take the kick. Torjus Sæterbø sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kjomme's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
