After a defensive mix-up in Leinom FF's zone, Jan-Aage Holmgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarle Hilde came out of the goal and Jan-Aage Holmgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Monstad's Jan-Aage Holmgren in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Leinom FF's goalie prevented a goal. Andreas Sangolt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Jarle Hilde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Monstad booed when Leinom FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Aanerud didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kim Myklebust took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jarle Hilde. Leinom FF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Andreas Sangolt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jarle Hilde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kim Sandvold took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Risa. Christian Risa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 47th play minute Jan-Aage Holmgren came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jarle Hilde. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Jarle Hilde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Aage Holmgren in the 57th minute of play. Jarle Hilde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Sangolt, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Monstad's Andreas Sangolt got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jarle Hilde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Aage Holmgren in the 76th minute of the match. Jonathan Haga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Jarle Hilde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Aage Holmgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Leinom FF getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Fredrik Nordstrøm hit a great ball. Jarle Hilde didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andreas Sangolt went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score.
