Jiang Le Sha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Sangolt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Monstad booed when SPIRIT OF KIRA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver Rønningen didn't get a good kick on the ball. SPIRIT OF KIRA's Jiang Le Sha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Sangolt in the 28th minute of play. Arne Lindquist struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Christian Risa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SPIRIT OF KIRA. If Ivo Nebel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jiang Le Sha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Sangolt, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Christian Risa stood somewhat misplaced when Arne Lindquist came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 40 minute. Morten Stokland charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Morten Stokland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th match minute, Monstad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Morten Stokland to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of SPIRIT OF KIRA booed when Monstad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Aage Holmgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arne Lindquist to make the kick off. Ivo Nebel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Christian Risa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Axel Habbestad hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Ivo Nebel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 60th minute of the match Morten Stokland completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Morten Stokland a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. When Ivo Nebel came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the SPIRIT OF KIRA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivo Nebel couldn't finish the play. Jiang Le Sha yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Daniel Kleven took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Christian Risa. Monstad's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. SPIRIT OF KIRA's Jiang Le Sha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save SPIRIT OF KIRA from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, SPIRIT OF KIRA's Axel Habbestad got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Jan-Aage Holmgren struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Jiang Le Sha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monstad. In the 95th minute, Ivo Nebel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SPIRIT OF KIRA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
