Henrik Sneve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jørgen Irgens in the 5th minute of the match. Stian Skaare hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Thomas Stormyr left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vindic fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Helge Friestad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrik Sneve having to interfere. After 17 minutes of play, Gissenås BF's Mons Tiller made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hans Reppe was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 21 minutes, Jørgen Irgens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vindic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jørgen Irgens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vindic's Hans Reppe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aksel Kausar in the 23rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gissenås BF's zone, Helge Friestad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrik Sneve came out of the goal and Helge Friestad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th minute, Øystein Grotle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hans Reppe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mons Tiller in the 29th minute of the match. Helge Friestad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jørgen Irgens got free with Henrik Sneve in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute, Vindic's Jørgen Irgens ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Henrik Sneve. Henrik Sneve yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Thomas Stormyr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christian Pedersen to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55thth minute of the game Jørgen Irgens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gissenås BF's Henrik Sneve was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 59th play minutes Jørgen Irgens shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Henrik Sneve and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 73rd minute, Aksel Kausar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Vindic booed when Gissenås BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Kirkevold didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Helge Friestad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henrik Sneve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Stormyr in the 78th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Vindic's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Pedersen came free, but Hans Reppe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Gissenås BF's zone, Jørgen Irgens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrik Sneve came out of the goal and Jørgen Irgens tried to chip the ball over his head. The audience was convinced that Jørgen Irgens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrik Sneve was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. There was no doubt that Vindic were the better team. Vindic's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
