The supporters of Ims BF booed when Kiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Odin Rykkje didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute, Morten Skøien got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 17 played minutes Ims BF got a freekick which was hit by Erik Magnusson. When Kiro FC's Morten Skøien in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ims BF's goalie prevented a goal. In the 21st minute of the match Egil Wathne shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sven Løseth showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sven Løseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ken Opheim in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 28th minute Morten Skøien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Løseth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arve Våge who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Fabian Holstad when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Kiro FC's Ken Opheim in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ims BF's goalie prevented a goal. Arve Våge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Fabian Holstad made a huge save. Arve Våge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stein Ørmen hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Arve Våge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Fabian Holstad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Morten Skøien to strike the kick off in the second half. Ken Opheim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Løseth having to interfere. Morten Skøien blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sven Løseth having to make a save. Morten Skøien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 57 played minutes Kiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Odin Rykkje. Ken Opheim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Sven Løseth made a huge save. Fabian Holstad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arve Våge in the 63rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Morten Skøien in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven Løseth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Kiro FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Runar Refsdal hit a great ball. Fabian Holstad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arve Våge in the 79th minute of play. Morten Skøien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Sven Løseth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ims BF's zone, Morten Skøien stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven Løseth came out of the goal and Morten Skøien tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ims BF's Sven Løseth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Ims BF from getting a goal against them. Sven Løseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morten Skøien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the last second Sven Løseth throw himself and got hold of the ball when Morten Skøien in the 96thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Kiro FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
