Jon Samdal in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emanuel Reitan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hammeren's Emanuel Reitan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Hammeren from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Jon Samdal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emanuel Reitan. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. If Arrigo Di Renzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jon Samdal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Reitan having to interfere. The Polonia Lillehammer fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Polonia Lillehammer's Arrigo Di Renzo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arrigo Di Renzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arrigo Di Renzo to make the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Polonia Lillehammer's Arrigo Di Renzo made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuel Reitan was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 57 minutes, Jon Samdal made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hammeren's Emanuel Reitan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 66thth minute of the game Arrigo Di Renzo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hammeren's Emanuel Reitan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emanuel Reitan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon Samdal in the 68th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Reidar Bilstad fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sjur Flo, passed just outside the right post. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Polonia Lillehammer had played much better football throughout.
