An unexpectedly hard shot by Amund Helgesen in the 12th minute of play forced Tjong BF's goalkeeper Stian Enoksen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Amund Helgesen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stian Enoksen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Lysebu IF's zone, Øyvind Karlsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bård Askvik came out of the goal and Øyvind Karlsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute, Karl Kjersem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonard Rudi in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bård Askvik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Xuoco Saavedra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bård Askvik having to interfere. Øyvind Karlsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bård Askvik having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Xuoco Saavedra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tjong BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Xuoco Saavedra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bård Askvik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Niklas Rørstad kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Karl Kjersem struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Stian Enoksen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lysebu IF. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl Kjersem to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Lysebu IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iver Buan to maneuver through the defense. Oscar Langmo hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Øyvind Karlsen charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Øyvind Karlsen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Amund Helgesen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bård Askvik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Rudi in the 71st minute of the match. Tjong BF's Christoffer Nyborg got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 77 minutes, Leonard Rudi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A wasted opportunity for Tjong BF. 91 minutes into the match, Lysebu IF's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Rudi came free, but Bård Askvik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Øyvind Karlsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tjong BF's Daniel Saltnes got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Øyvind Karlsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Bård Askvik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tjong BF were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
