Kim-André Grinde's late challenge caught a Brydalen IL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kim-André Grinde helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Brydalen IL booed when Strand was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kim-André Grinde didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Willumsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeppe Gåsland having to interfere. When Kim-André Grinde was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 9 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Strand's Kim-André Grinde got a free kick in the 10th minute. Daniel Willumsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Jeppe Gåsland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, Brydalen IL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ole Huus to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Brydalen IL's zone, Sindre Neteland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joakim Dahlstrøm came out of the goal and Sindre Neteland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute, Håvard Olberg made a precise shot to the right of Joakim Dahlstrøm. Brydalen IL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sindre Neteland in the 24th minute of play forced Brydalen IL's goalkeeper Joakim Dahlstrøm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ole Huus kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Sindre Neteland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joakim Dahlstrøm having to interfere. Sindre Neteland struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Joakim Dahlstrøm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Strand. Hans-Petter Petterson charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hans-Petter Petterson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd match minute, Brydalen IL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans-Petter Petterson to maneuver through the defense. Hans-Petter Petterson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jeppe Gåsland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

If Frode Vårdal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Brydalen IL fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Brydalen IL's Frode Vårdal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 62 played minutes Strand got a freekick which was hit by Håvard Olberg. If Daniel Willumsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeppe Gåsland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frode Vårdal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute Frode Vårdal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeppe Gåsland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frode Vårdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frode Vårdal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeppe Gåsland having to interfere. If Daniel Willumsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
