The crowd rose to their feet as Karl Almaas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Christian Ramstad. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. Nicholas Taraldsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 31 minutes of play Linnehats IF's Vebjørn Rønhovde was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 32 played minutes Linnehats IF got a freekick which was hit by Vebjørn Rønhovde. Mikkel Børve took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Christian Ramstad. Linnehats IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 34 played minutes Forza Juve got a freekick which was hit by Even Evenrud. A collision led to Forza Juve getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Even Evenrud hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, Runar Gjendem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl Almaas to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Even Evenrud in the 51st minute of play forced Linnehats IF's goalkeeper Christian Ramstad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl Almaas in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Ramstad saved Linnehats IF from getting behind. Linnehats IF's Christian Ramstad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Almaas in the 54th minute of play. Even Evenrud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Ramstad having to interfere. Christian Ramstad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl Almaas's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Linnehats IF's goal looked a bit too open when Karl Almaas came free, but Christian Ramstad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 minutes, Bjarne Melby mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Linnehats IF and the Forza Juve players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Linnehats IF getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Bjarne Melby hit a great ball. Even Evenrud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute.
