Sæter's Daniel Vetrhus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Gilde in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute Eirik Skjerping shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Vetrhus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Odin Nymo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Ole-Johan Wanvik fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sæter's protests and gave Ole-Johan Wanvik a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sæter's Ole-Johan Wanvik got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute, Geir Lundhaug hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kyrre Mjøs took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Daniel Vetrhus. Sæter's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sebastian Sander made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Martin Lid sent off a good shot on target. Sæter's Odin Nymo got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Eirik Skjerping notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sæter's Daniel Vetrhus. Daniel Vetrhus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 26 minutes into the match, Kvarsnes FF's goal looked a bit too open when Odin Nymo came free, but Sebastian Sander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Odin Nymo came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Sæter fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Odin Nymo couldn't finish the play. Kvarsnes FF's Sebastian Sander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Kvarsnes FF from getting a goal against them. When Martin Lid came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Sæter fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Lid couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute, one of Kvarsnes FF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kvarsnes FF. Kvarsnes FF's Sebastian Sander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odin Nymo in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Odin Nymo made the kick off in the second half. Martin Lid's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Sander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Eirik Skjerping sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruben Gilde got free with Daniel Vetrhus in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Kvarsnes FF's Cornelius Hogstad got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Odin Nymo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Sander having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Kvarsnes FF's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Lid came free, but Sebastian Sander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kvarsnes FF's Sebastian Sander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odin Nymo in the 71st minute of play. Odin Nymo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Sebastian Sander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Lid in the 79th minute of play forced Kvarsnes FF's goalkeeper Sebastian Sander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Lid in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Sander saved Kvarsnes FF from getting behind. If Odin Nymo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Odin Nymo took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastian Sander. Sebastian Sander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 93 minutes into the match, Kvarsnes FF's goal looked a bit too open when Gaute Kalland came free, but Sebastian Sander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sæter were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
