Spectators: 7605 (Terracing: 5705, Seating: 1749, VIP seats: 151) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ståle Sjøgren got the match started through his kick off. Hans-Petter Evenstad was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 7th minute. Vestpollen's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A hard shot 9 in the game by Hans-Petter Evenstad from a close distance when the talented Martin Tande managed to make a qualified save. Tullamore's players were relieved. Martin Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Ryan in the 14th minute of the match. When Hans-Petter Evenstad came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Vestpollen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans-Petter Evenstad couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the match, Vestpollen's goal looked a bit too open when Petter Tøndel came free, but Stian Teigen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Ståle Sjøgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tullamore's supporters rose to their feet, but Ståle Sjøgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stian Teigen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Petter Tøndel struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Stian Teigen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tullamore. The Tullamore fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Tullamore's Ståle Sjøgren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Stian Teigen came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Tullamore's Petter Tøndel. But to his dismay, Petter Tøndel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ståle Sjøgren in the 45th minute of play forced Vestpollen's goalkeeper Stian Teigen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Jarle Lassen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vestpollen's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarle Lassen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Tande breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Tullamore were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alex Ryan to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Johannes Petersen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stian Teigen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Ståle Sjøgren fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Hans-Petter Evenstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Ryan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Tande having to interfere. In the 69th match minute, Tullamore was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Silden to maneuver through the defense. Erik Lima hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Alex Ryan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Tande having to interfere. After 92 played minutes, Tullamore's Fabian Nordberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stian Teigen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tullamore reached it. Stian Teigen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ståle Sjøgren in the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tullamore eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
