Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ståle Dehli started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Gjengstoen FC booed when Brain Dead Familia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. August Lidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 3 minutes into the match, Ståle Dehli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Øyvind Bratberg. Brain Dead Familia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ståle Dehli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Øyvind Bratberg came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Gjengstoen FC's Morten Hagberg. But to his dismay, Morten Hagberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Theodor Raa hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Christer Nordlund came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Brain Dead Familia's August Lidal. But to his dismay, August Lidal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 21 played minutes, Brain Dead Familia's Johannes Bergset shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christer Nordlund came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brain Dead Familia reached it. Kristian Meisingset hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 22ndth minute of the game Steffen Eik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brain Dead Familia's Øyvind Bratberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Christoffer Berntsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Øyvind Bratberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John-Einar Fjell in the 29th minute of play. Øyvind Bratberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ståle Dehli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christer Nordlund made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Christoffer Berntsen sent off a good shot on target. August Lidal was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 44th minute. Brain Dead Familia's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when August Lidal made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Gjengstoen FC got a freekick which was hit by Theodor Raa. Christer Nordlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Bergset, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brain Dead Familia's Øyvind Bratberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John-Einar Fjell in the 56th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Brain Dead Familia's goalkeeper Øyvind Bratberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Steffen Eik. Øyvind Bratberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ståle Dehli in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th minute John-Einar Fjell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Øyvind Bratberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gjengstoen FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
