Spectators: 6736 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gard Dalene got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th minute Steinar Nome shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl-Rune Furulund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Runar Bertheussen came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Skillemo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Runar Bertheussen couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Skillemo's zone, Erik Frydenberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Skjold came out of the goal and Erik Frydenberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gard Dalene charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gard Dalene the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Trønderlag Vikings:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Skillemo:s goal. The goalkeeper, Carl-Rune Furulund, was totally fooled by Skillemo's Svein Fossland, who 22 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Trønderlag Vikings's Carl-Rune Furulund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steinar Nome in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute Oddbjørn Nordstrand collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. 27 minutes into the game, Kjetil Wiken was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trønderlag Vikings's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skillemo the free kick. In the 28th match minute, Trønderlag Vikings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjetil Wiken to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Odd-Eirik Vollen during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Odd-Eirik Vollen hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Erik Frydenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Thomas Skjold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Skillemo's Linus Tronstad got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute of the match Kevin Kvinge sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thomas Skjold skillfully saved the ball. Ole-Gunnar Fossheim kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Trønderlag Vikings's Erik Frydenberg got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Skillemo getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Odd-Eirik Vollen hit a great ball. Bent Waage charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bent Waage the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd match minute, Trønderlag Vikings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bent Waage to maneuver through the defense. Runar Bertheussen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Runar Bertheussen was the one to do the kick off. Thomas Skjold made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Erik Frydenberg sent off a good shot on target. Carl-Rune Furulund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Runar Bertheussen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevin Kvinge took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Thomas Skjold. Skillemo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Carl-Rune Furulund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Runar Bertheussen in the 75th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Runar Bertheussen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skillemo's supporters rose to their feet, but Runar Bertheussen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carl-Rune Furulund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carl-Rune Furulund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Runar Bertheussen in the 86th minute of the match. Runar Bertheussen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carl-Rune Furulund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Erik Frydenberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Thomas Skjold made a huge save. Odd-Eirik Vollen was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 96 played minutes Skillemo got a freekick which was hit by Odd-Eirik Vollen. Trønderlag Vikings's Kevin Kvinge shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 97th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Thomas Skjold but with some difficulty.
