If Mads Vollan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, Christer Bekken left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Ysteby IF's goal looked a bit too open when Christer Bekken came free, but Ådne Hogstad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ådne Hogstad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christer Bekken in the 15th minute of the match. Niklas Klokk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FFK's zone, Abraham Moen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bent Nissen came out of the goal and Abraham Moen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niklas Klokk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bent Nissen having to interfere. If Niklas Klokk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Ysteby IF's Niklas Klokk dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Abraham Moen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abraham Moen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bent Nissen having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, Vegard Bryhn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ysteby IF the free kick. A collision led to FFK getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Vegard Bryhn hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in FFK's zone, Abraham Moen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bent Nissen came out of the goal and Abraham Moen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mads Vollan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ådne Hogstad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Niklas Klokk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christer Bekken was the one to do the kick off. If Abraham Moen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ysteby IF's Abraham Moen got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mads Vollan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ådne Hogstad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Abraham Moen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ysteby IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Abraham Moen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bent Nissen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Niklas Klokk took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bent Nissen. Bent Nissen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Jørgen Oskarsen hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niklas Klokk in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bent Nissen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abraham Moen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bent Nissen having to interfere. There was no doubt that Ysteby IF were the better team. Ysteby IF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
