Segundo Gartzea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rasmus Heggheim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mike Uyttebroeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Robert Stokkeland struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Idar Halstensen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fredrikstad FK. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mike Uyttebroeck in the 26th minute of play forced Gravarmarka's goalkeeper Idar Halstensen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mike Uyttebroeck received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Idar Halstensen came out and tried to block the shot, but Mike Uyttebroeck slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 28th minute. In the 31st match minute, Gravarmarka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geir Ekren to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Gravarmarka defense, Mike Uyttebroeck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Idar Halstensen. The Gravarmarka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Idar Halstensen should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Mike Uyttebroeck sped through Gravarmarka's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Idar Halstensen. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gravarmarka's goalkeeper Idar Halstensen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 47 minutes, Jesper Tafjord mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fredrikstad FK and the Gravarmarka players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fredrikstad FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mike Uyttebroeck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Idar Halstensen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mike Uyttebroeck's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Odin Zimmermann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Segundo Gartzea made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Mike Uyttebroeck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fredrikstad FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mike Uyttebroeck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Idar Halstensen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jesper Tafjord struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Idar Halstensen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fredrikstad FK. After 91 played minutes Gravarmarka got a freekick which was hit by Ask Gjerløw. In the 93rd minute, Odin Zimmermann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fredrikstad FK's Segundo Gartzea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Fredrikstad FK from getting a goal against them. Fredrikstad FK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
