The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ludvig Honningsvåg was the one to do the kick off. Jo Gulbrandsen made in the 55th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Helge Lein immediately put the ball in play. When Ludvig Honningsvåg came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the CSKA Dynamo fans jumped to their feet. With 66 minutes on the clock, Tor-Henrik Torvund commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to CSKA Dynamo getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Tor-Henrik Torvund hit a great ball. In the 70th minute Kai-Arne Mydland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Nodeland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 played minutes Varna got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Nordal. Nils-Arne Vikan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fridtjof Øvrum having to interfere. Sivert Reinholdtsen fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 94th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
