Ole-Martin Søgaard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erik Mogstad ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40th match minute, FC Spurvene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Hauge to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Sebastian Sand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Tokle having to interfere. FC Spurvene's Ole-Martin Søgaard got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Catalunya FC's Christian Lilleng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Catalunya FC from getting a goal against them. Catalunya FC's Christian Lilleng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Mogstad in the 80th minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, FC Spurvene's Jens Daae nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christian Lilleng made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Jens Daae in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Christian Lilleng, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Christian Lilleng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Mogstad in the 92nd minute of the match.
