Spectators: 6766 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when André Elnes got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Barøy BK getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Hans Braut hit a great ball. In the 4th minute, Kim Heggset hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nils-Christian Osmundsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaute Valstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 8th match minute, Barøy BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Risvik to maneuver through the defense. Ruben Risvik kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Arvid Saga was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ken Reite. Gaute Valstad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 17 minutes, Hans Braut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barøy BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans Braut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hans Braut succeeded in the game's 19th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Torgeir Hellands short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Arvid Saga to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 25th minute Hans Braut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Christian Osmundsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, André Elnes lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Arvid Saga. Hans Braut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaute Valstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Christian Osmundsen having to interfere. In the 35th minute, one of Stornæve:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Stornæve. Stornæve's Nils-Christian Osmundsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Braut in the 40th minute of play. Nils-Christian Osmundsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaute Valstad went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

53 minutes into the match, Stornæve's goal looked a bit too open when Gaute Valstad came free, but Nils-Christian Osmundsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Stornæve's zone, Gaute Valstad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils-Christian Osmundsen came out of the goal and Gaute Valstad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hans Braut's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nils-Christian Osmundsen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Hans Braut struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Nils-Christian Osmundsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barøy BK. If Gaute Valstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Nils-Christian Osmundsen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaute Valstad got free with Nils-Christian Osmundsen in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hans Braut made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 78thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Nils-Christian Osmundsen would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Barøy BK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tore-Andre Berg in the 79th minute. A nice corner shot did that Finn-Christian Hagland got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nils-Christian Osmundsen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Gaute Valstad put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Nils-Christian Osmundsen. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaute Valstad in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nils-Christian Osmundsen saved Stornæve from getting behind. The Stornæve fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Barøy BK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
