The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, Festaa BK's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Fagermo came free, but Steffen Haavik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Röda Raketerna's Torjus Fretheim got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute Eirik Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans-Erik Strømnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Erik Storli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Röda Raketerna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Festaa BK the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ken Moe in the 27th minute of play forced Röda Raketerna's goalkeeper Hans-Erik Strømnes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eirik Holmgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Hans-Erik Strømnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Festaa BK's Ken Moe slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hans-Erik Strømnes. That made the score 2-1 after 36 minutes of play. In the 39th minute, Jimmy Furuheim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eirik Holmgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hans-Erik Strømnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eirik Holmgren in the 43rd minute of play. Hans-Erik Strømnes made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Edvin Jensrud sent off a good shot on target.

After 50 minutes of play Röda Raketerna's Erik Storli was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 51 played minutes Röda Raketerna got a freekick which was hit by Erik Storli. 53 minutes into the game, Nils-Johan Carlsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Röda Raketerna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Festaa BK the free kick. In the 53rd minute, Nils-Johan Carlsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Festaa BK's Steffen Haavik got control of the ball when Jonathan Fagermo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hans-Erik Gjestvang kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Eirik Holmgren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Hans-Erik Strømnes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edvin Jensrud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 77 minutes, Lasse Taksdal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Röda Raketerna and the Festaa BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lasse Taksdal kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Festaa BK were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Röda Raketerna's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Torvald Aronsen took the corner. The corner led Festaa BK's Torvald Aronsen to fire away a dangerous shot which Hans-Erik Strømnes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lasse Taksdal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steffen Haavik having to interfere. Edvin Jensrud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Eirik Holmgren notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Röda Raketerna's Hans-Erik Strømnes. Hans-Erik Strømnes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 93 minutes, Edvin Jensrud managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Festaa BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edvin Jensrud was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Festaa BK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
