Bjørn Husebø recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th minute Isak Figenschau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Larsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kent-Are Sævareid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Evjen getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Eilert Torvund hit a great ball. If Isak Figenschau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Panda FK's Ronny Tonheim got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute Isak Figenschau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Larsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Larsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bjørn Husebø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Mathiesen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thomas Bjørndalen went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Isak Figenschau took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Larsson. Daniel Larsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. A collision led to Evjen getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Isak Figenschau hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Panda FK's Kent-Are Sævareid dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. If Bjørn Husebø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kent-Are Sævareid made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Bjørn Husebø left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Evjen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Daniel Larsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bjørn Husebø in the 56th minute of the match. Daniel Larsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bjørn Husebø in the 58th minute of play. Thomas Bjørndalen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Evjen's Bjørn Husebø dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Thomas Bjørndalen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Jonathan Mathiesen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 played minutes Panda FK got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Rekdal. Chris Waaler, 88 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Evjen's Isak Figenschau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Larsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Evjen walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
