The tension between the Dalbygden FF and the Arsenal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 played minutes Dalbygden FF got a freekick which was hit by Christian Moltu. Alex Leithe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Gjøsund having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Dalbygden FF's goal looked a bit too open when Roar Minde came free, but Daniel Gjøsund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åsmund Lunde in the 15th minute of play forced Dalbygden FF's goalkeeper Daniel Gjøsund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Gjøsund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Markus Strømnes in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Even Grønningsæter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Gjøsund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Halvor Engelund went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Arsenal FC booed when Dalbygden FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ole-Gunnar Førre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Gjøsund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roar Minde, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Roar Minde kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Daniel Gjøsund. That made the score 2-0 in the 33 minute of play. Roar Minde struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Daniel Gjøsund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arsenal FC. Dalbygden FF's Daniel Gjøsund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roar Minde in the 39th minute of play. Kristoffer Otterstad took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beniamin Gregorczyk. Beniamin Gregorczyk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Alex Leithe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Arsenal FC's Alex Leithe slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Daniel Gjøsund. That made the score 3-1 after 46 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kristoffer Otterstad to strike the kick off in the second half. Halvor Engelund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Daniel Gjøsund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
