Spectators: 7260 (Terracing: 5760, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) Galatasaray's Åge Brænden started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sever Mandache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjartan Digernes in the 8th minute of play. The throw-in from Samuel Norberg in the 15th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Tjieloabme United's Sebastian Espenes. Sebastian Espenes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sever Mandache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bjarne Dahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After some careless play in the Galatasaray defense, Bjarne Dahl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sever Mandache. The Galatasaray fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sever Mandache should have stopped the shot. Galatasaray's Sever Mandache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjartan Digernes in the 29th minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Tjieloabme United's Bjarne Dahl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sever Mandache made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Kristen Heggheim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åge Brænden in the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Didrik Ludvigsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 56th minute, Bjarne Dahl reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sever Mandache. The goal made the score 1-4. Sever Mandache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjartan Digernes in the 60th minute of the match. Galatasaray's Sever Mandache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bjarne Dahl in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Chris Bergquist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galatasaray's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tjieloabme United the free kick. A collision led to Galatasaray getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Chris Bergquist hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Tjieloabme United's Bjarne Dahl ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sever Mandache. Sever Mandache yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Sever Mandache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bjarne Dahl in the 72nd minute of play. Sever Mandache was a little too slow when Kjartan Digernes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 1-6. The crowd rose to their feet as Halvor Birkelund kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sever Mandache. That made the score 1-7 in the 92 minute of play. When Daniel Lysgård fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galatasaray's protests and gave Daniel Lysgård a yellow card for diving instead. Daniel Lysgård hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute, Kjartan Digernes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Galatasaray's Sever Mandache didn't even have to move. Tjieloabme United played a much better game than Galatasaray and deserved their victory. The Galatasaray players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
