Kristen Heggheim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Helgesen in the 14th minute of play. Kristian Vigre hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Tjieloabme United's Kristen Heggheim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vegard Gundersen in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Tjieloabme United getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Halvor Birkelund hit a great ball. Tjieloabme United's Bjarne Dahl was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 33rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Aslak Byrkjeland kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Ulf-Hendrik Schou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Jonathan Andorsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kim Milde having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Vegard Gundersen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kristen Heggheim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vegard Gundersen in the 61st minute. If Jonathan Andorsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 67th minute Lars-Olav Natås shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristen Heggheim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kim Milde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjartan Digernes, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. When Lars-Olav Natås fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brekkestø IF's protests and gave Lars-Olav Natås a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Brekkestø IF's Lars-Olav Natås got a free kick in the 81st minute. Bjarne Dahl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Brekkestø IF's zone, Bjarne Dahl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kim Milde came out of the goal and Bjarne Dahl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bjarne Dahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kim Milde having to interfere.
