Spectators: 6677 (Terracing: 5677, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Christer Risvik made the kick off and thus started the match. Edvard Holtan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christer Risvik, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After having played for 5 minutes, Christer Risvik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liverpool's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christer Risvik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 9th minute, Morten Istad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Børge Fossnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Brede Håheim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stig Hveem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Kenneth Moss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christer Risvik in the 27th minute of play forced Skaun's goalkeeper Edvard Holtan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christer Risvik was extremely unlucky when he, in the 28th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Skaun's Børge Fossnes pulled a muscle in his leg after 32 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Brede Håheim got his second yellow card in the match during the 32nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Brede Håheim hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the game, Skaun's Kai-Arne Kvaløy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kenneth Moss made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Bastian Iversen hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Kai-Arne Kvaløy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kenneth Thomsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Kai-Arne Kvaløy took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Kenneth Moss to make any attempt to save it. Edvard Holtan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morten Istad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kai-Arne Kvaløy struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Kenneth Moss didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skaun. In the 67th minute, Ove Karoliussen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ove Karoliussen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth Moss having to interfere. The supporters of Skaun booed when Liverpool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christer Risvik didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Liverpool getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Morten Istad hit a great ball. Kai-Arne Kvaløy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, Morten Istad had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edvard Holtan. Skaun's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Morten Istad was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 79 minutes into the match, Liverpool's goal looked a bit too open when Kai-Arne Kvaløy came free, but Kenneth Moss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Liverpool's Kenneth Moss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kai-Arne Kvaløy in the 81st minute of play. Kenneth Thomsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kai-Arne Kvaløy received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kenneth Moss came out and tried to block the shot, but Kai-Arne Kvaløy slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Skaun left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Liverpool.
