Cato Mong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Sampaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Cato Mong didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Skudalen IF's Jakob Malmin shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. When Jakob Malmin came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Skudalen IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jakob Malmin couldn't finish the play. Pedro Sampaio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 35th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a little luck, Herøya BK's Cato Mong got control of the ball when Jakob Malmin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Herøya BK's goalkeeper Cato Mong had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Flem. An unexpected shot in the 46th minute by Jakob Malmin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Pedro Sampaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakob Malmin in the 57th minute of play forced Herøya BK's goalkeeper Cato Mong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cato Mong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Flem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Skudalen IF's Filippo Traini got control of the ball when Bastian Falck tried to sneak it across the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Geir-Inge Selvåg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filippo Traini. Skudalen IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geir-Inge Selvåg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 70th minute, Theodor Refsnes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Herøya BK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Skudalen IF a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Frode Hagelund, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Herøya BK's Cato Mong. 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruben Kolstad during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Herøya BK getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Ruben Kolstad hit a great ball. After 95 played minutes Theodor Refsnes rounded Skudalen IF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-3. Chants of Herøya BK echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Skudalen IF had held the ball for most of the match.
