Bomstad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Loki Štriker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Rune Fiskå could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Tore Vevle made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Loki Štriker in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tore Vevle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 45 minutes into the game, Oliver Tønsberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bomstad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Polonia Lillehammer the free kick. After 45 played minutes Bomstad got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Tønsberg. Tore Vevle came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Polonia Lillehammer's Rune Fiskå. But to his dismay, Rune Fiskå quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0.

After some careless play in the Bomstad defense, Rune Fiskå kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tore Vevle. The Bomstad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tore Vevle should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Polonia Lillehammer booed when Bomstad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dagfinn Thingstad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rune Fiskå received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Tore Vevle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Polonia Lillehammer's Rune Fiskå nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 90th minute, Loki Štriker made a precise shot to the right of Tore Vevle. Bomstad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. In the 94th match minute, Bomstad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Tønsberg to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Polonia Lillehammer fully deserved thier win.
