Jon-Inge Håheim came out of the goal and Reidar Sporsheim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sandøyra's Karsten Indrebø played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christer Nyquist in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Tor-Andre Mundal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sandøyra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hellervik BK the free kick. In the 7th match minute, Sandøyra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tor-Andre Mundal to maneuver through the defense. Reidar Sporsheim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute Severin Kvamme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon-Inge Håheim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 21 minutes, Espen Bergersen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hellervik BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Espen Bergersen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Christer Nyquist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Karsten Indrebø was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 28th minute, Christer Nyquist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hellervik BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a rather tough play, Sandøyra's Tor-Andre Mundal got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 34th minute, Espen Bergersen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karsten Indrebø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Espen Bergersen in the 41st minute of the match. Hellervik BK's Jon-Inge Håheim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reidar Sporsheim in the 56th minute of play. Severin Kvamme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon-Inge Håheim having to interfere. When Christer Nyquist came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Hellervik BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christer Nyquist couldn't finish the play. In the 77th minute, Frode Granly hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reidar Sporsheim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon-Inge Håheim having to interfere. During the 81st minute of the match Frode Granly completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Frode Granly a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Frode Granly hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Christer Nyquist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hellervik BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Christer Nyquist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karsten Indrebø breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christer Nyquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karsten Indrebø having to interfere.
