Spectators: 7598 (Terracing: 5700, Seating: 1747, VIP seats: 151) If Arnstein Løge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the match, Sandøyra's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Mehl came free, but Karsten Indrebø reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anders Erdal's late challenge caught a Fastdalen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anders Erdal helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sandøyra getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Anders Erdal hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abraham Mehl in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karsten Indrebø saved Sandøyra from getting behind. Karsten Indrebø came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Fastdalen's Arnstein Løge. But to his dismay, Arnstein Løge quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Arnstein Løge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 23 minutes, Abraham Mehl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fastdalen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abraham Mehl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tor Nordeng charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tor Nordeng the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tor Nordeng hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnstein Løge in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karsten Indrebø prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fastdalen were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Sandøyra's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stian Øren took the corner. In the 36th minute, Fastdalen's Jarle Lindberg seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jarle Lindberg the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Fastdalen protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jarle Lindberg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 45th minute, Jonathan Rolstad sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Fastdalen's Erik Schanke didn't even have to move. With a little luck, Fastdalen's Erik Schanke got control of the ball when Reidar Sporsheim tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half Fastdalen were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abraham Mehl to make the kick off. Erik Schanke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severin Kvamme in the 53rd minute of play. Fastdalen's Erik Schanke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reidar Sporsheim in the 59th minute of play. If Reidar Sporsheim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abraham Mehl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reidar Sporsheim scored 1-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erik Schanke, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 72nd minute, Casper Stien fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 75th match minute, Fastdalen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stian Moen to maneuver through the defense. Reidar Sporsheim took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erik Schanke. Erik Schanke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Reidar Sporsheim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sandøyra's supporters rose to their feet, but Reidar Sporsheim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erik Schanke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Halvdan Stavenes kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Anders Erdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
