Remi Olberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sindre Svanberg in the 8th minute of the match. Lykkefisken IF's Ole Kristian Igland was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 13th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A collision led to Brøndby FK getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Even Røv hit a great ball. Idar Fossdal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Remi Olberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Brøndby FK's goal looked a bit too open when Ole Kristian Igland came free, but Daniel Vikøren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olav Liabø charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olav Liabø the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Brøndby FK's Olav Liabø got a free kick in the 27th minute. Eilert Iqbal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Vikøren having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Brøndby FK got a freekick which was hit by Anton Storm. Sindre Svanberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ole Kristian Igland was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Ole Kristian Igland notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Brøndby FK's Daniel Vikøren. Daniel Vikøren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Ole Kristian Igland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eilert Iqbal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Idar Fossdal fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brøndby FK's protests and gave Idar Fossdal a yellow card for diving instead. Idar Fossdal hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The supporters of Lykkefisken IF booed when Brøndby FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Idar Fossdal didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Ole Kristian Igland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Vikøren was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Dan Kirkeby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Vikøren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ole Kristian Igland's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Dan Kirkeby's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Vikøren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Ole Kristian Igland scored 4-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Vikøren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lykkefisken IF's Dan Kirkeby got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86thth minute of the game Ole Kristian Igland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brøndby FK's Daniel Vikøren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Idar Fossdal kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Daniel Vikøren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ole Kristian Igland, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. If Ole Kristian Igland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lykkefisken IF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
