Cato Skau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrik Aae in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Petter Stokkenes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. kartal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alsvaag FF the free kick. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the match, Patrik Aae notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Alsvaag FF's Cato Skau. Cato Skau was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alsvaag FF's Cato Skau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Alsvaag FF from getting a goal against them. Asle Bakkejord's late challenge caught a Alsvaag FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Asle Bakkejord helped the player get up and apologised. After 53 played minutes kartal got a freekick which was hit by Asle Bakkejord. Børge Thorshaug made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Jonathan Palm sent off a good shot on target. If Laurits Torstensen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind kartal's goalkeeper Børge Thorshaug, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 64 minutes of play, Alsvaag FF's Jonathan Palm made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Børge Thorshaug was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alsvaag FF's Laurits Torstensen got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Laurits Torstensen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jonathan Palm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Laurits Torstensen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Børge Thorshaug was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. kartal's Børge Thorshaug played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurits Torstensen in the 86th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Alsvaag FF players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
