Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After a defensive mix-up in Sørbakken's zone, Laurits Torstensen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Morten Rinde came out of the goal and Laurits Torstensen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 11 played minutes Sørbakken got a freekick which was hit by Martin Bråten. In the 16th minute Lars-Olav Ofstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cato Skau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lars-Olav Ofstad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Cato Skau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Sørbakken's goal looked a bit too open when Laurits Torstensen came free, but Morten Rinde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sørbakken's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars-Olav Ofstad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Morten Rinde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonathan Palm in the 41st minute. Laurits Torstensen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Morten Rinde came out and tried to block the shot, but Laurits Torstensen slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 42nd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laurits Torstensen was the one to do the kick off. Torgeir Fløtre kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Ole-Gunnar Ihlen kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 63rd match minute, Alsvaag FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ole-Gunnar Ihlen to maneuver through the defense. Alsvaag FF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
