Russehamn BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christoffer Grønn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sture Westlie struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Oscar Sætren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sørbakken. After 20 played minutes Russehamn BF got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Hestetun. Lars-Olav Ofstad kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Lars-Olav Ofstads short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Oscar Sætren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sture Westlie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Sætren having to interfere. Oscar Sætren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sture Westlie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, Torgeir Fløtre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sørbakken's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Russehamn BF the free kick. In the 38th minute, Torgeir Fløtre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oscar Sætren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torgeir Fløtre in the 40th minute of the match. After having played for 43 minutes, Sture Westlie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sørbakken's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sture Westlie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 44 minutes, Olaf Sletten mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Russehamn BF and the Sørbakken players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute Sture Westlie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Sætren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Russehamn BF's goal looked a bit too open when Sture Westlie came free, but Oscar Sætren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sture Westlie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sture Westlie to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Leon Østerhus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Russehamn BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Østerhus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sture Westlie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sture Westlie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Sætren having to interfere. Lars-Olav Ofstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Sætren having to interfere. If Sture Westlie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Morten Rinde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christoffer Grønn in the 63rd minute. The corner led to Russehamn BF's Reidar Hanssen getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. If Lars-Olav Ofstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Sætren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars-Olav Ofstad in the 82nd minute of play. Sørbakken's Martin Bråten got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sørbakken's Lars-Olav Ofstad got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sture Westlie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Oscar Sætren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Sætren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars-Olav Ofstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Sture Westlie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sørbakken walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
