Spectators: 7428 (Terracing: 5685, Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mathias Hope kicked off to start the match. The Galatasaray fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Galatasaray's Tage Flaten looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tage Flaten in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kevin Madsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Galatasaray's Cristiano Branco in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eid FK's goalie prevented a goal. Cristiano Branco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22ndth minute of the game Tage Flaten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eid FK's Kevin Madsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Andreas Hjorth fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eid FK's protests and gave Andreas Hjorth a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the Galatasaray defense, Linus Nordhaug kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Verner Lid. The Galatasaray fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Verner Lid should have stopped the shot. Cristiano Branco struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Kevin Madsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galatasaray. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristiano Branco in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kevin Madsen saved Eid FK from getting behind. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galatasaray's goalkeeper Verner Lid, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Branco in the 42nd minute of play forced Eid FK's goalkeeper Kevin Madsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Petter Bøen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Halvard Borge kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Joachim Harnes's shot from long distance in the 55th minute was not bad at all, but Eid FK's Kevin Madsen knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. In the 56th minute, Petter Bøen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 63 in the game by Tage Flaten from a close distance when the talented Kevin Madsen managed to make a qualified save. Eid FK's players were relieved. Galatasaray's Cristiano Branco was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 68th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Konrad Haug received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Verner Lid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Eid FK's Kevin Madsen got control of the ball when Tage Flaten tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray's Arnstein Trana got a free kick in the 81st minute. Mathias Hope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Linus Nordhaug made a precise shot to the right of Verner Lid. Galatasaray's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Kevin Madsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tage Flaten in the 87th minute of play. After having played for 93 minutes, Tage Flaten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galatasaray's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tage Flaten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eid FK were furious when Øyvind Leirvåg was red carded, 98 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee gave Galatasaray a penalty, 100 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Joachim Harnes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Eid FK's Kevin Madsen. 2-4. Galatasaray's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
