With his leg Lukas Norberg managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Galatasaray's Tage Flaten fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Verner Lid was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 26 played minutes Galatasaray got a freekick which was hit by Joar Langås. Verner Lid stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oddbjørn Lam's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 42 minutes into the match, Fc Fujarka's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Branco came free, but Lukas Norberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute Cristiano Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukas Norberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lukas Norberg was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Joachim Harnes. After 47 minutes, Dag Natland mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galatasaray and the Fc Fujarka players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th minute, Dag Natland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Verner Lid came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc Fujarka's Oddbjørn Lam. But to his dismay, Oddbjørn Lam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Tore Idland was shown his second yellow card after 69 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Fc Fujarka getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Tore Idland hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristiano Branco in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lukas Norberg saved Fc Fujarka from getting behind. Tage Flaten took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lukas Norberg. Lukas Norberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Tage Flaten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lukas Norberg having to interfere. After some careless play in the Fc Fujarka defense, Cristiano Branco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lukas Norberg. The Fc Fujarka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lukas Norberg should have stopped the shot. 92 minutes into the match, Fc Fujarka's goal looked a bit too open when Tage Flaten came free, but Lukas Norberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lukas Norberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristiano Branco's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. In the 97th minute, Tage Flaten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
