In the 12th minute Frode Drage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odd-Eirik Kjærvik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Andrey Shevchenko made a precise shot to the right of Odd-Eirik Kjærvik. Kurland Allstars's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tor Hasund got free with Odd-Eirik Kjærvik in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Liverpool FC's Christian Daae slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Odd-Eirik Kjærvik. That made the score 3-1 after 26 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birk Meier in the 32nd minute of play forced Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Svein Johannessen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Andrey Shevchenko reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Odd-Eirik Kjærvik. The goal made the score 4-1. After having played for 43 minutes, Theodor Sandaker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kurland Allstars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Theodor Sandaker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Liverpool FC's Frode Drage in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After having played for 96 minutes, Frode Drage managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liverpool FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frode Drage was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Liverpool FC were the better team. Liverpool FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
