Alf Bjørgan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Alf Bjørgan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

52 minutes into the match, Åkrehamn IF's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Daae came free, but Alf Bjørgan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Frode Drage put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alf Bjørgan. Åkrehamn IF's Alf Bjørgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Daae in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Åkrehamn IF's Petter Lilleng got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 69th minute, Andrey Shevchenko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Liverpool FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. If Frode Drage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Svein Johannessen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Åkrehamn IF's Alf Bjørgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tor Hasund in the 78th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Åkrehamn IF's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Daae came free, but Alf Bjørgan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Åkrehamn IF's Petter Lilleng slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Svein Johannessen. That made the score 4-2 after 86 minutes of play. Theodor Øvsthus struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Alf Bjørgan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liverpool FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frode Drage in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alf Bjørgan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frode Drage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Liverpool FC had played much better football throughout.
