Spectators: 7565 (Terracing: 5675, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 151) Kurland Allstars's Benjamin Thomassen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With his leg Alf Bjørgan managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Kurland Allstars's Birk Meier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thomas Hallan during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 6 played minutes Åkrehamn IF got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Hallan. Benjamin Thomassen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Alf Bjørgan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Kurland Allstars's Birk Meier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alf Bjørgan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 16th minute Kristian Obrestad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odd-Eirik Kjærvik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petter Lilleng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Odd-Eirik Kjærvik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petter Lilleng's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. When Thomas Hallan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 24 minutes had been played. Thomas Hallan hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Kurland Allstars were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Åkrehamn IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anton Kjelstad took the corner. Birk Meier received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alf Bjørgan came out and tried to block the shot, but Birk Meier slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 35th minute. Petter Lilleng struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Odd-Eirik Kjærvik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åkrehamn IF. When Kristian Obrestad fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Åkrehamn IF's protests and gave Kristian Obrestad a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Kurland Allstars booed when Åkrehamn IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristian Obrestad didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Åkrehamn IF's Alf Bjørgan got control of the ball when Birk Meier tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Petter Lilleng made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Petter Lilleng managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åkrehamn IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Petter Lilleng was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Odd-Eirik Kjærvik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 61 minutes into the game, Kurland Allstars's Birk Meier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alf Bjørgan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Odd-Eirik Kjærvik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petter Lilleng in the 68th minute. Petter Lilleng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jøran Brobakken charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jøran Brobakken the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 76th match minute, Åkrehamn IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jøran Brobakken to maneuver through the defense. After 79 played minutes Kurland Allstars got a freekick which was hit by Anton Kjelstad. 81 minutes into the game, Lars Onarheim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Åkrehamn IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kurland Allstars the free kick. Birk Meier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alf Bjørgan having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Birk Meier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Birk Meier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Alf Bjørgan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Birk Meier struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Alf Bjørgan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kurland Allstars. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kurland Allstars fans cheered their team off the field, for while Åkrehamn IF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
