Spectators: 7541 (Terracing: 5657, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) Petter Sørnes made the kick off and thus started the match. After a defensive mix-up in Fredrikstad FK's zone, Petter Sørnes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jon Hammeren came out of the goal and Petter Sørnes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jon Hammeren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Hammerstad in the 4th minute of play. Petter Sørnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute Fredrik Hammerstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Hammeren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th match minute, Fredrikstad FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjartan Enge to maneuver through the defense. Jon Hammeren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petter Sørnes in the 17th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Fredrik Hammerstad managed to get in a good position for a shot. 4Ever United's supporters rose to their feet, but Fredrik Hammerstad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jon Hammeren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fredrik Hammerstad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jon Hammeren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Petter Sørnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon Hammeren having to interfere. 4Ever United's Lars Langeland proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save 4Ever United from getting a goal against them. Jon Hammeren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petter Sørnes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th match minute, Fredrikstad FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent-Are Bekkelund to maneuver through the defense. Sjur Gudbrandsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sjur Gudbrandsen struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Lars Langeland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fredrikstad FK.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sjur Gudbrandsen to make the kick off. Sjur Gudbrandsen took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lars Langeland. Lars Langeland dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Lars Langeland came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Fredrikstad FK's Theodor Hegdal. But to his dismay, Theodor Hegdal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fredrikstad FK had won after a very even match.
