Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anders Sandstad took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Lasse Istad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lasse Istad came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Gjermshus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lasse Istad couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Anders Sandstad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gard Langåker was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Stein-Roger Hauan kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After 22 played minutes, Liverpool jz's Peder Furre shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Johan Akselsen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Liverpool jz reached it. 23 minutes into the game, Stein-Roger Hauan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gjermshus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liverpool jz the free kick. Anders Sandstad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 31 played minutes Liverpool jz got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Stormyr. In the 35th minute, Liverpool jz's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Anders Sandstad fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 40th minute Anders Sandstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gard Langåker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Liverpool jz's Henrik Hornnes got a free kick in the 44th minute. Gjermshus were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Liverpool jz's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eivind Mohn took the corner. At last the ball reached Kevin Vike at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Liverpool jz. 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henrik Sellæg to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Gjermshus booed when Liverpool jz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peder Furre didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute Anders Sandstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gard Langåker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Gjermshus's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Sellæg came free, but Johan Akselsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gard Langåker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Sandstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Gard Langåker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lasse Istad in the 72nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Anders Sandstad put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gard Langåker. Lasse Istad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gard Langåker having to interfere. In the 79th minute Anders Sandstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gard Langåker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lasse Istad in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gard Langåker saved Liverpool jz from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lasse Istad in the 83rd minute of play forced Liverpool jz's goalkeeper Gard Langåker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anders Sandstad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Stein-Roger Hauan made a precise shot to the right of Gard Langåker. Liverpool jz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Gard Langåker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Sandstad in the 95th minute of play. Anders Sandstad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gjermshus had played much better football throughout.
