Christoffer Høiberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Jones having to interfere. Finn-Christian Lilleås showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bendik Sævik in the 6th minute of the match. When Ronny Moltu fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KLOKKARVOK FC's protests and gave Ronny Moltu a yellow card for diving instead. 13 minutes into the match, KLOKKARVOK FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christoffer Høiberg came free, but Rune Jones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in KLOKKARVOK FC's zone, Christoffer Høiberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rune Jones came out of the goal and Christoffer Høiberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Smolan fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Smolan's Tim Schou looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. John-Einar Vorland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Rune Jones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Smolan fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Smolan's Christoffer Høiberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to KLOKKARVOK FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Nils-Johan Mandal hit a great ball. Christoffer Høiberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rune Jones. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christoffer Høiberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Rune Jones didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christoffer Høiberg went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Christoffer Høiberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rune Jones having to make a save. After having played for 42 minutes, Tim Schou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Smolan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tim Schou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the KLOKKARVOK FC defense, Christoffer Høiberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rune Jones. The KLOKKARVOK FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rune Jones should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when Bendik Sævik made the kick off in the second half. Rune Jones made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Tim Schou sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christoffer Høiberg got free with Rune Jones in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute of the match Smolan got a corner. KLOKKARVOK FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tim Schou ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of KLOKKARVOK FC's goalie and right to John-Einar Vorland. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. KLOKKARVOK FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Finn-Christian Lilleås took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronny Moltu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rune Jones came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Smolan's Christoffer Høiberg. But to his dismay, Christoffer Høiberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 75 minutes into the match, Bendik Sævik notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Smolan's Finn-Christian Lilleås. Finn-Christian Lilleås was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rune Jones made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christoffer Høiberg in the 80th minute. 84 minutes into the match, KLOKKARVOK FC's goalkeeper Rune Jones had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christoffer Høiberg. Smolan's Christoffer Høiberg got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Finn-Christian Lilleås showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Johan Mandal in the 89th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Christoffer Høiberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jarle Undrum's late challenge caught a Smolan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jarle Undrum helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd match minute, KLOKKARVOK FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarle Undrum to maneuver through the defense. Christoffer Høiberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Rune Jones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bendik Sævik in the 96th minute of play forced Smolan's goalkeeper Finn-Christian Lilleås to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
