Thomas Bruun's late challenge caught a Mundheim FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thomas Bruun helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Smolan getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Thomas Bruun hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Smolan's zone, Alpertunga Salik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Finn-Christian Lilleås came out of the goal and Alpertunga Salik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 6 minutes, John-Einar Vorland mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Smolan and the Mundheim FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th minute, John-Einar Vorland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, Smolan's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Teigland came free, but Finn-Christian Lilleås reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mikkel Refseth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Kåsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute, Ludvig Gjesdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mundheim FK's Lars Teigland got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Christoffer Høiberg made a precise shot to the right of Mikkel Refseth. Mundheim FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Mikkel Refseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John-Einar Vorland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Kallestad kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Alpertunga Salik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 34 played minutes, Smolan's Tim Schou shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mikkel Refseth came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Smolan reached it. Tom Aasberg kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The Mundheim FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Smolan were winning 0-1.

After a rather tough play, Smolan's Tim Schou got a free kick in the 55th minute. Christoffer Høiberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Mikkel Refseth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lars Teigland came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Mundheim FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Teigland couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Mundheim FK booed when Smolan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. John-Einar Vorland didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lars Teigland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Kallestad kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Lars Teigland made a precise shot to the right of Finn-Christian Lilleås. Smolan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Finn-Christian Lilleås didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lars Teigland went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 91st minute Tim Schou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikkel Refseth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Smolan's attack was well implemented in the 91st minute, but when Tim Schou was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. 94 minutes into the match, Lars Teigland notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Smolan's Finn-Christian Lilleås. Finn-Christian Lilleås was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
