Spectators: 6732 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Morten Ludviksen started the match with the kick off. 10 minutes into the match, Føresvik's goal looked a bit too open when Jo Asheim came free, but Kåre Drevland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute Morten Ludviksen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kåre Drevland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Egil Marstein recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Christoffer Bjørk. Egil Marstein showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Christoffer Bjørk made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Julius Isdal sent off a good shot on target. Morten Ludviksen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jo Asheim in the 42nd minute of play forced Føresvik's goalkeeper Kåre Drevland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kåre Drevland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jo Asheim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kåre Drevland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morten Ludviksen, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 45 minutes, Aleksander Bye mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Føresvik and the Hvamsal BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 played minutes Føresvik got a freekick which was hit by Aleksander Bye. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute, Aleksander Bye hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Morten Ludviksen took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Kåre Drevland to make any attempt to save it. Christoffer Bjørk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julius Isdal in the 56th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Morten Ludviksen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kåre Drevland. That made the score 1-2 in the 60 minute of play. Markus Polden took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kåre Drevland. Føresvik's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Julius Isdal notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Hvamsal BK's Christoffer Bjørk. Christoffer Bjørk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christoffer Bjørk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julius Isdal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julius Isdal in the 77th minute of play forced Hvamsal BK's goalkeeper Christoffer Bjørk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Egil Marstein's late challenge caught a Hvamsal BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Egil Marstein helped the player get up and apologised. Egil Marstein hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When Egil Marstein was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes had been played. In the 84th minute, Egil Marstein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Steffen Larsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kåre Drevland. Føresvik's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 87th minute Morten Ludviksen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kåre Drevland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morten Ludviksen in the 89th minute of play forced Føresvik's goalkeeper Kåre Drevland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hvamsal BK's Christoffer Bjørk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksander Bye in the 90th minute of play. Hvamsal BK's Morten Ludviksen got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Morten Ludviksen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
