Bjørnar Årseth succeeded in the game's 11th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Espen Nordhus in the 19th minute of play forced Føresvik's goalkeeper Kåre Drevland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kåre Drevland made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Bernt Skogen sent off a good shot on target. Espen Nordhus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kåre Drevland having to make a save. Gunnar Nordstrand hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Marius Næsheim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Åndal's Espen Nordhus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kåre Drevland narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bernt Skogen in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kåre Drevland, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kåre Drevland didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 29th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Bernt Skogen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Kåre Drevland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kåre Drevland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Espen Nordhus in the 37th minute of the match. Bernt Skogen succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 40th playminute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Kåre Drevland didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Espen Nordhus went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernt Skogen in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kåre Drevland saved Føresvik from getting behind. If Bernt Skogen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Espen Nordhus took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kåre Drevland. Kåre Drevland dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The Åndal fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Åndal's Espen Nordhus looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bernt Skogen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Kåre Drevland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71stth minute of the game Espen Nordhus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Føresvik's Kåre Drevland was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Finn-Christian Skjelbred had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Bernt Skogen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kåre Drevland came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Åndal's Bernt Skogen. But to his dismay, Bernt Skogen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Espen Nordhus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åndal's supporters rose to their feet, but Espen Nordhus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kåre Drevland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute, Bernt Skogen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Åndal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. When Aleksander Bye fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Føresvik's protests and gave Aleksander Bye a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Føresvik getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Aleksander Bye hit a great ball.
