Cornelius Ring showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarle Nyseth in the 6th minute of the match. Cornelius Ring made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Jon-Erik Åsheim sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Larsen Hotspurs's Cornelius Ring got control of the ball when Jarle Nyseth tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute, Jarle Nyseth made a precise shot to the right of Cornelius Ring. Larsen Hotspurs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Jan-Frode Mo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelius Ring having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, manchester u was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Vaksdal to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Larsen Hotspurs booed when manchester u was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Vaksdal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cornelius Ring stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Frode Mo's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 31st minute Ole-Gunnar Reigstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otto Osmundsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Larsen Hotspurs's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Frode Mo came free, but Cornelius Ring reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Asmund Høgberg made a kick off. Jarle Nyseth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Cornelius Ring tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jon-Erik Åsheim couldn't finish the play. Cornelius Ring made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Frode Mo in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarle Nyseth in the 87th minute of play forced Larsen Hotspurs's goalkeeper Cornelius Ring to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Larsen Hotspurs's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Frode Mo came free, but Cornelius Ring reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Larsen Hotspurs's Asmund Høgberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2. When the referee ended the match the manchester u players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
