Arnt Østlie came out of the goal and Cato Grønvik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute, Santana Serra made a precise shot to the right of Arnt Østlie. Dromnes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Jan-Aage Westgaard hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Cato Grønvik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Warrior FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cato Grønvik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Øystein Åsen's late challenge caught a Warrior FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Øystein Åsen helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Dromnes getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Øystein Åsen hit a great ball. Dromnes's Arnt Østlie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santana Serra in the 20th minute of play. Mikael Vatne hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Eilif Henden's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ragnar Løset read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 played minutes Warrior FC got a freekick which was hit by Bent Gangstad. Dromnes's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Santana Serra 27 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. In the 30th minute, Lasse Martens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute Santana Serra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnt Østlie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Stig-Inge Smørdal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Warrior FC's Ragnar Løset played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Inge Smørdal in the 43rd minute of play. Ragnar Løset took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Inge Smørdal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The supporters of Dromnes booed when Warrior FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent-Are Kolltveit didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig-Inge Smørdal got free with Ragnar Løset in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Dromnes's Ragnar Løset threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ferdinand Grytten, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Eilif Henden's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ragnar Løset read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Warrior FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ferdinand Grytten fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Stig-Inge Smørdal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Ragnar Løset made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Grytten in the 79th minute of play forced Warrior FC's goalkeeper Ragnar Løset to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steffen Mæhre hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the match, Dromnes's Ferdinand Grytten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ragnar Løset narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Stig-Inge Smørdal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Ragnar Løset made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Grytten in the 96th minute of play forced Warrior FC's goalkeeper Ragnar Løset to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
