Santana Serra struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Even Gjøsund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Warrior FC. In the 6th minute, Warrior FC's Bent Gangstad ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Even Gjøsund. Even Gjøsund yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 8 minutes into the game, Olof Aanstad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Warrior FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kraakmo the free kick. The supporters of Kraakmo booed when Warrior FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olof Aanstad didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Kraakmo getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Øivind Kvernberg hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Santana Serra fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Even Gjøsund, passed just outside the right post. Even Gjøsund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santana Serra in the 14th minute of play. Bent Gangstad did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Even Gjøsund 21 minutes into the match. Olof Aanstad was shown his second yellow card after 24 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Olof Aanstad hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Myrhaug in the 27th minute of play forced Warrior FC's goalkeeper Ragnar Løset to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bent Gangstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kraakmo's Even Gjøsund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santana Serra in the 33rd minute of play. Ragnar Sjo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Even Gjøsund. Kraakmo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Warrior FC's Bent Gangstad got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santana Serra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santana Serra to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Warrior FC's Santana Serra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Even Gjøsund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even Gjøsund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santana Serra, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Ragnar Løset took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Øivind Kvernberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Øivind Kvernberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Warrior FC's Ragnar Løset got control of the ball when André Myrhaug tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kraakmo's Eirik Aune collided with an opponent after 62 minutes. The hit was so violent that he fractured his nose and had to leave the field. Mikael Vatne's late challenge caught a Kraakmo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mikael Vatne helped the player get up and apologised. After 63 played minutes Warrior FC got a freekick which was hit by Mikael Vatne. 65 minutes into the match, Warrior FC's goalkeeper Ragnar Løset had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by André Myrhaug. Kraakmo's Even Gjøsund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bent Gangstad in the 68th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Kraakmo got a freekick which was hit by Øivind Kvernberg. After having played for 71 minutes, Santana Serra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Warrior FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santana Serra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ragnar Løset made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Myrhaug in the 78th minute of play. André Myrhaug fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ragnar Løset having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, one of Warrior FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Warrior FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santana Serra in the 90th minute of play forced Kraakmo's goalkeeper Even Gjøsund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Sander Pedersen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute, Bent Gangstad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Santana Serra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Warrior FC had played much better football throughout.
